Vision and Mission
 MISSION STATEMENT
Exemplifying our Islamic Values, we at the Beitul-Maal Society will mobilize all resources, build partnerships and develop local capacity as we work to support and provide relief to enable sustainable livelihoods within the poor and vulnerable community.

 VISION STATEMENT

Inspired by the values of our Islamic faith, The Beitul-Maal Society is working towards tackling and   alleviating poverty by providing much needed meals to the community.

Through our faith we envisage a community where people are empowered, social obligations are fulfilled and where people respond as one, to serving others.

At The Beitul-Maal Society, we provide an impartial, efficient and transparent social service that ensures that all donations reach the people that really need them.

Background

In 2010, it was noticed that families in Bonteheuwel were struggling with basic day to day needs and was thus unable to live a dignified life. It was also noticed that woman, children, the disabled and the elderly were amongst the neediest of all. It was due to this need that the Beitul-Maal Society was established.

The Beitul-Maal Society consists of ordinary people who are all themselves residents of Bonteheuwel.  We also partner with various professionals, donors and ex Bonteheuwel residents to help alleviate the problem of poverty in the area.

The main focus of the Society is to improve the quality of life for the residents of Bonteheuwel by offering them a plate of food via one of our 12 soup kitchens on various days of the week, as well as providing various social development services such as counselling, skills workshops and sustainable living programs.
